Shrine of Mother Cabrini
The Shrine of Mother Cabrini, located in Golden, Colorado honors Saint Francis Xavier Cabrini, and was purchased by Cabrini somewhere around 1909-1910 to be used as a summer camp for orphaned girls at her orphanage. The serene setting offers exceptional views of the Denver skyline, not to mention prayer walks, a rosary garden, a beautifully ordained chapel, and a 373 step stairway of prayer that leads to a 22-foot statue of Jesus opening his Sacred Heart to the city and people of Denver.
